How can we help?

MamaPut is a marketplace for home-cooked Nigerian food. Cooks in your area list their dishes, you order and pay in the app, and the cook delivers to your door.

We are starting in Canada. You will see every kitchen that delivers to your address. If there is none near you yet, leave your email on the home page and we will tell you when one opens.

Independent home cooks. MamaPut does not prepare, handle or deliver food. Each cook is responsible for their food, including ingredients, allergens and food safety.

Read the dish description and allergen tags, and message the kitchen before you order if you have any doubt. Only the cook knows exactly what is in a dish.

By card when you place the order. Payments are handled by Stripe and your card details are never stored on our servers.

Yes, until the kitchen accepts it. You are refunded in full minus the card processing fee, which the card company does not return. The app shows the exact amount before you confirm.

You are refunded in full, including the card fee.

Message the kitchen first, since they can usually put it right. If that does not solve it, email support@mamaput.ca with your order code.

The kitchen, or a driver working for that kitchen. Each kitchen sets its own delivery area and delivery fee.

Yes. Once your order is on its way you can follow the driver on a live map and see an estimated arrival time.

Chat and calling open when the driver is about 10 minutes away. Calls go through a masked number, so neither of you sees the other person's phone number.

To keep everyone safe, phone numbers, email addresses and links to other messaging apps are not allowed in chat. Use the in-app chat and call buttons.

Create an account, open your kitchen, set up payouts with Stripe and add your dishes. Your kitchen goes live once payouts are ready.

There is no sign-up fee and no monthly fee. MamaPut keeps 5% of each order total, and the card company takes its processing fee. You receive the rest.

After the order is marked delivered. The money goes to your bank account through Stripe.

You can create a dish photo with AI, and buyers see an "AI image" label on it. Photos must show the food a buyer will actually receive.

Yes. One account can order food, run a kitchen and deliver. Switch between them from the Account tab.

Email support@mamaput.ca from the address on your account and we will delete it.
